Harford FC United Board of Directors, DOC and Coaches are following and updating the return to play protocols in regards to COVID-19.
We have spent the better part of 7 months staying up to date with the COVID-19 Return to Activity discussions. This includes being on National, Regional and Local meetings, communicating with Forest Hill Recreation Council Board of Directors and receiving updates from the MD State Youth Sports Road to Recovery team members.
This information has led Harford FC to follow: the CDC, US Youth Soccer and Maryland State Youth Soccer Association Recommended Guidelines for a Phased Approach to resuming organized youth soccer, Maryland Road Map to Recovery Best Practices for Youth Sport, the most current Maryland Executive Orders Regarding Community, Recreational, Leisure, Cultural, and Sporting Gatherings and Events (Executive Order No. 20-06-10-01 and MDH 2020-06-12-01.

Our top level club program located in Harford County, Maryland is a proud member/partner of Forest Hill Recreation Council in Forest Hill, Md. We service over 400 players, girls and boys, dedicated to training players ranging from U8 to U23. Over the years, players in the club have developed in to some of the region’s best talent and want to continue that tradition through this partnership.
“The coaches and staff at Harford FC United are amazing people with a strong passion for developing players. They have been introducing the game the right way in this region of Maryland for many years. We are thrilled to formally announce this partnership as we expand the club with other like-minded people focused on player development and giving the best experience possible,” says Club President Andrew Bulls. “Our focus is to work together to develop top level players. Together we are stronger.”
“Harford FC United is excited to become a partner with Coppermine and Coppermine SC. I personally have been associated with Coppermine organization for over 6 years.
Coppermine’s dedication to developing the person and not just the player is something we need more than ever in today’s competitive youth sports landscape. It is great to know that partnership will allow us to bring this mindset to more young people and their families in the Baltimore Metro area. Finally, Coppermine’s ability to offer more than just soccer (other programs, unmatched facilities, summer job opportunities, etc) is something that will be great for the athletes and their families.” Says Harford FC United Club Director, Tom Murrell.
The unification of the clubs will provide an incomparable platform for both girls and boys youth soccer teams. Registration for the Fall season has begun.
Coppermine SC Girls Director of Coaching, Val Teixiera, added " Our goal is to continue the players development and promote a great brand of soccer with a professional coaching staff. Our philosophy is heavily dependent on player development.", said the 2019 USYS National Champion coach.
